This page sets out what personal information novericav collects, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do about it. The store is operated by NUVELLA COMMERCE GROUP LLC, registered in Colorado, United States, registered office 1500 N Grant St Ste N, Denver, CO 80203.

No Sale, No Sharing for Advertising

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms. That has been true for the whole of the preceding 12 months.

What Is Actually Running on This Site

As at the effective date above, novericav.com carries no Google Ads tag, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no third-party advertising or analytics tracker of any kind. The only measurement present is Shopify's own, used to run the storefront, keep your cart alive, secure checkout, fight fraud and give us basic traffic figures.

If that changes, this page will be updated before any new tag goes live, and a cookie banner will be added so you can refuse advertising cookies.

Cookies

The cookies in use are the ones the store needs to function: session, cart, checkout security and fraud detection. Your browser settings can block or clear them, though checkout will not work correctly without the necessary ones.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Since we neither sell nor share personal information for advertising there is nothing for it to switch off, but we treat it as a valid opt-out and respect it automatically.

Who Receives Your Information

Shopify, which hosts the store and processes orders for us.
Our payment processor, which processes payments. Card data goes to our payment processor, not to us.
Our fulfillment supplier in China, which receives your name, delivery address and order contents in order to pack and ship the parcel.
USPS and FedEx, which receive the delivery address.
Our returns facility in Illinois, which receives return details.
Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally obliged to respond.

We do not supply personal information to data brokers or advertising networks.

Information Leaving the United States

To get your parcel packed and dispatched, your name, delivery address and order contents are transmitted to our supplier in China. Other processing happens in the United States through Shopify and our payment processor. Ordering from us means accepting that delivery data has to cross a border for the order to be fulfilled.

Email Marketing

Marketing email goes only to people who subscribed. Every message carries an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We send no marketing text messages and we do not use your phone number for marketing.

California Residents

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you may ask what personal information we hold and where it came from, request a copy, ask for correction or deletion, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share, but the request stands regardless. Exercising any of these rights changes nothing about the price you pay or the service you get.

Colorado and Other States

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy statutes hold broadly equivalent rights of access, correction, deletion and portability, plus the right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. We apply these rights to everyone who asks, whichever state you live in.

Appeals

If we turn a request down we will say why. Reply to that message with the word APPEAL and we will review it within 45 days. If the appeal fails you may complain to your state Attorney General.

Making a Request

Email support@novericav.com with PRIVACY in the subject line, saying what you want. We verify you by matching the details you give against an order in our records. We will not ask for a government ID and we will not ask for anything beyond what is needed to locate your record.

Requests are answered within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where the request is complex. There is no fee.

Children

This is a store for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 and our products are not directed at children. If you think a child has given us information, email support@novericav.com and it will be deleted.

How Long We Keep Things

Order records are held for seven years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. Marketing subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Site activity data is kept for up to 12 months. Beyond that, information is deleted or anonymized.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS with TLS encryption and payments are processed by third-party payment providers that maintain PCI DSS compliance. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will tell you promptly.
